The Huguenot Church in Charleston, South Carolina is pink because its original color, discovered during a restoration in 2013, was a rosy pink. The church was subsequently repainted to its historic hue. This distinctive color was part of the church's original design by architect Edward Brickell White and dates back to the building's dedication in 1845
